Privacy policy Learnbudy, (“Learnbudy” or “we”) knows your privacy is important to you and we are committed to providing a safe and secure user experience. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Learnbudy Terms of Service, and applies to the use of Learnbudy online at and on mobile devices (collectively, “Learnbudy”), which are owned and operated Learnbudy. It describes how we collect, use, secure, and share information of our users and individuals whose payment details are used to purchase Learnbudy (collectively, “you”). It also describes how to access, update and correct your personal information and the choices available to you regarding your personal information. Learnbudy, collects two types of information: Personal information, which means information that can be used to uniquely identify and contact you; and non-personal information, which does not provide direct association with you. When you register to use Learnbudy, we collect the following: Your sign-in data (which includes: your name and either email address or Facebook / Linkedin / Google login information), which we use to identify you so you have exclusive access to your account. You can sign in to Learnbudy using your Facebook / Linkedin / Google account; in this case, your sign-in is also governed by and subject to Facebook’s / Linkedin’s / Google’s privacy policy. Your demographic information, which we use for our research, online competition and to show you how well you are performing compared to the rest of your demographic. Your demographic information is non-personal. Device information. We may collect information about the device or any computer you may use to download or stream a copy of the Learnbudy application on your device, including, where available, the device’s or computer’s unique device identifiers, operating system, browser type and mobile network information as well as the device’s telephone number, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. We may associate device information with your sign-in data and will treat the combined information as personal data in accordance with this policy for as long as it is combined. Log information. When you use Learnbudy, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server logs, including but not limited to internet protocol (IP) addresses, internet service provider (ISP), clickstream data, browser type and language, viewed and exit pages and date or time stamps. If you contact us for customer service, we may also collect any information you give us. We use this information to identify you as a customer and help improve our service. When you use Learnbudy to play games / practice, we collect non-personal information on your usage and performance as a player. We use this information to calculate your performance, to provide you with personalised feedback to tell you where you are improving and how quickly, and to construct your training plan (consisting of the goals and games you are served). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us at Children under 13 may not disclose personal information about themselves to us, but Parents or Teachers may disclose certain personal information about their Child on the Services. Such information disclosed is considered Personal Information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. By signing up your Child, you certify that you are a Parent or Teacher who is legally authorized to register his or her Child for the Learnbudy Services. As the Parent or Teacher providing consent to your Child’s use of the Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in respect of your Child’s use of the Services and are solely responsible for your Child’s use of the Services. You represent and warrant that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on your Child’s behalf. You also certify that you are legally permitted to use and access the Services and take full responsibility for the selection and use of and access to the Services. We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information in personally identifiable form to anyone. However, we may share your Personal Information with third parties as described in this section: Aggregated Personal Information that’s no longer personally identifiable As previously discussed in more detail above, we may anonymize your Personal Information so that you are not individually identified, and provide that information to our partners. We may also provide aggregate usage information to our partners, who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Services, so that they, too, can provide you with an optimal online experience. We also reserve the right to use non-personal information (e.g., de-identified or aggregate data) for any purpose. We may disclose performance statistics to collaborators from Secondary or post-secondary institutions (i.e. universities, colleges, Schools) to evaluate, study, and improve the effectiveness of our programs or human cognition more generally. In these situations, all data is disclosed either in aggregate form or with information that can identify you removed. In addition, when we work with collaborators, we contractually prohibit them from attempting to re-identify individuals from data that has been de-identified. Learnbudy allows you to share your performance results on Facebook / Linkedin and other platforms from time to time. If you do this, or if you share your information publicly in any other way, the information becomes publicly accessible and is no longer covered by this privacy policy. Remember that putting personal information online where it is publicly accessible means third parties can collect it and use it to send you unsolicited messages or for any other purposes Please share your information carefully. Accessing, Reviewing, and Deleting Your Information You may access, review, correct and delete your registration information through your Account page. Upon request Learnbudy will provide you with information about whether we hold your personal information. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active, or we think you may return as a user, or as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We encourage you to review their privacy policies. Blog. Our website offers publicly accessible blogs. Some blog posts allow comments via Facebook. You may need to login or contact Facebook both to post comments and to delete personal information that previously was posted in the comments. We allow you to refer your friends and contacts to Learnbudy, either by manually entering their email addresses or by importing contacts from email accounts you have with third parties. If you choose to utilize these features, we’ll use and store the email addresses only for purposes of sending the invitation emails you have requested. If you utilize these features, the friends or contacts that you refer may contact us at the contact information listed below to request that we delete their personal information. Please note that we do not collect the username and password to your email accounts; the import features route you to the third party email provider to log in through their services. Social Media Widgets. Our website may include social media features, such as Facebook and Twitter buttons.
